To mark the centenary of the poet's death, the Fondation Rilke the tradition of the Rilke Festival. In collaboration with the Teatro del Tempo and the Swiss Foundation for Landscape Conservation and Development, it is offering four walks in the different linguistic regions that Rilke visited (provisional dates):
- August 28–30, 2026, in Soglio
- October 3–4, 2026, in Winterthur and Berg am Irchel
- October 23–25, 2026, in Locarno/Ascona
- December 4–6, 2026, in Sierre/Muzot/Rarogne.
The Festival includes readings, contemporary music, and guided walks. Registration is required. You can find here . The final program will be announced shortly.
Travel and accommodation must be arranged individually. Some recommendations will be provided in due course. The same principle applies to breaks and restaurants. The aperitif is included in the participation fee.
